Your words are the best bit

Make the birthday wishes sound like you

A favourite memory, an in-joke or one thing you love about them will mean more than a perfectly polished sentence. Mimo gives you editable birthday starter words; keep them, change a line or write something entirely your own.

  • For a friend: mention the next adventure you want to have together.
  • For family: tell them one small thing they do that makes your life better.
  • Running late? Own it with a smile—Belated Birthday Snail is made for that.

From a little thought to a little surprise

  1. Choose the delivery. Find a film that feels like them. Preview it before you decide.
  2. Make the words yours. Add your names and edit the message. Preview your Mimo before paying.
  3. Share your private link. After payment and confirmation, use your phone’s share menu or copy the link into a message. You send it—not us.

A couple of things you might wonder

Can I send a belated birthday greeting?

Absolutely. Choose Belated Birthday Snail and edit the birthday starter words to suit your late arrival. You share the link yourself after payment, so you decide when and where to send it.

Is the film itself personalised?

You choose a ready-made delivery film. Your names and message appear afterwards on a separate message screen; they aren’t spoken by the character or added inside the film.

Who can open the Mimo?

Anyone with the private link can open it, so share it only with the people you intend. See our privacy notice for more.
